Next time you go in for a haircut, and the person doing the cutting is of limited english skills and looks like she learned haircutting just outside the gates of Kimpo or Osan Air Base sometime in the 70s....do NOT tell her "yeh, just a basic haircut please...trim it up." Because thats what you'll get....a Basic(Training) haircut.

Its not QUITE a basic training haircut, but its close. My beard was actually longer than the hair on top of my head till I trimmed it down a bit(beard usually gets trimmed once a week, and it was time).

I don't think I kept my hair this short even when I was still on active duty now that I think about it.
